One thing that was suggested to enhance our blogs was adding printables. I included it in my blog post covering what you can learn at a blog conference but I really had no clue what it was. It turns out that a printable is exactly what it sounds like. It is a document that can be printed, it is printable. More specifically a printable is a craft or other item such as calendar or meal planner that is can be printed and used.
So in an effort to provide a more interactive experience for you Joy Chasers I have done my first printable. Now, I am not a crafty person though I’d like to be. I cannot draw a straight line with a ruler and it does not matter how many times I measure before I cut each measurement will be different. I blame it on my less than perfect hand eye coordination. One thing I can do is get creative with the computer. So with just a little messing around on the PC, I am happy to offer you the very 1st Chasing Joy Printable
I mentioned a while back that the escape and adventures of books allows me to see each book as a new literary guide towards joy. So what better Printable than something to help you remember where you left off when you have to step away from your book? Enjoy your very own Joy bookmarks!!!
This should be really really simple. Simply click on the link above that says Download your Free printable. When the file opens just print it on card stock. Then cut out your bookmark along the dotted line. Now, no matter what type of book you are reading your bookmark will remind you to keep your focus on Joy.
Did you download the Joy bookmark printable? If so please take a picture of it in use and share it on the Chasing Joy FB page or email it to me at joychasing@yahoo.com so I can see it in action.
I linked this post up with TipJunkie :-)

ReplyDeleteI love bookmarks :) Although I have been reading most days on my kindle, I still pick up an actual book to read as well :)
ReplyDeleteThis design is spectacular! You most certainly know how to keep
ReplyDeletea reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost
moved to start my own blog (well, almost...HaHa!) Excellent job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you
presented it. Too cool!

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long)
ReplyDeleteso I guess I'll just sum it up what I had written and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to everything. Do you have any helpful hints for novice blog writers? I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at your blog site in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening
in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Other then that, excellent blog!
