Get inspired, motivated, and educated on ways to increase our happiness over breakfast at Maggiano's in King of Prussia, PA.  Ms. Positivity herself, life coach, Melissa Lopez, and  President and Chief Executive Officer of James, Davis and Associates, Janeane Davis will be enlightening us on their paths to Joy.

Janeane Davis

Janeane Davis describes herself as a Superwoman, aka a wife and mother of four.   Janeane created the blog Janeane's World   in order to share the thoughts, dreams and ideas relevant to the modern woman dealing with family, work and life.

Janeane wears a great many hats as any Superwoman would. In addition to working as the creator and writer of Janeane's World, she is Co-Founder and Executive Editor of PushingLovely.com, a website created to showcase the writing of women in social media by pushing women writers one story at a time. Additionally, she serves as a Contributing Editor for ProjectEve.com. Her writing on issues of critical interest to entrepreneurs can be found regularly featured on EvanCarmichael.com. She is honored to have been named a member of the Global Team of 200 a dedicated group of members of Mom Bloggers for Social Good created to deal with issues involving women and girls, children, world hunger and maternal health.  

Janeane serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of James, Davis and Associates a private consulting firm that was created to serve as a strategic planning resource to help businesses grow and thrive in the modern marketplace. Previously Janeane served as a project manager for ABO ventures, a renewable energy firm located in New Orleans, Louisiana that was created to help supply residents displaced and harmed by Hurricane Katrina with solar photovoltaic systems in order to save on energy costs and provide power in case of emergencies.  Janeane's training and work as an attorney have given her a particular love for paying attention to detail, writing wrongs and spreading the word about good and worthy causes.

Melissa Lopez

Melissa Lopez is an upbeat woman with her love of God, with a big dream to inspire and motivate others to realize that they are not a victim of their past circumstances.  Concisely that is Melissa Lopez. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia and a mother of two children and working full-time, she knows all about the highs and the lows of life.  Tired of feeling down and out and negative about so many things because of life's trials, Melissa decided to change that.  While living by the saying “life is positive not always negative” Melissa took her trials and started to motivate others to see that there is a better way of dealing with life than letting it beat them day in and day out.  

While on her journey to motivate the world one person at a time, Melissa takes her motivation to her blog Positively Shining.  While blogging, Melissa goes by “Ms. Positivity” and she encourages, praises, consoles, loves, and laughs to show just how positive life can be with the proper motivation. 

Melissa’s journey does not stop there, while earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kaplan University allowing her to understand in detail how others think, feel, and react to different areas in their lives, her dreams of BYOB (Being Your Own Boss) rings in her ears daily.  While blogging is satisfying, Melissa wanted more, so she set out to obtain her certification as a Certified Professional Life Coach, which she obtained in late December of 2012.  Meanwhile, Melissa’s thoughts shot past blogging and went towards being a business and then the rise of PositivelyShining.com 

While adhering to the code of ethics, and strict confidentiality, Melissa set the mission of Positively Shining in motion.   Melissa’s mission with Positively Shining states “Our mission is to break the mold of negative thinking that past circumstances have formed around you.  We can provide the proper motivation, inspiration, and empowerment you need to master the good life.  We will work together to break any strong holds that are keeping you from moving forward and living the happy, stress-free life that you deserve.  With my help and your determination to break free, you are well on your way to PPPC (PUSHING PAST your PAST CIRCUMSTANCES). 

Melissa’s strong determination for a positive life has given her the strength and courage to step out on faith and live a dream that many years ago was not visible in her own eyes.  

Melissa leaves us all with this “We are not what they think we are….we are not a victim of our past circumstances.”
